This week MUCHO will be donating $1 from every special sold company-wide to Sydney Women's Fund.

The Fund provides support for women experiencing domestic violence, promotes economic empowerment, provides access to education and employment opportunities and promotes inclusion and wellbeing.

On Monday 26 January, we raised $1 from every every drink sold across our trading venues to donate to BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation, for a total donation of $760.00.

BlaQ is a community-controlled organisation dedicated to supporting Aboriginal LGBTQ+SB Peoples and Communities in NSW. Their vision is to achieve a society that nurtures, supports, affirms, and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQ+SB communities whilst promoting safety and inclusion for all.

From the 17th–23rd of November, we raised $1 from every special across MUCHO venues and we’re thrilled to announce that together, we raised $2273 towards the Movember Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who helped us raise this money and contribute to supporting the ongoing research and awareness toward Men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention.

Every year, the Australian Bartender Bar Awards welcomes a person, or people, in to their Hall of Fame for outstanding contributions to the hospitality industry. This year we’re so chuffed to see our very own Daisy Tulley, Jeremy Blackmore and Alex Dowd handed the Hall of Fame baton for their incredible efforts over the last 14 years in hospitality.

Bar Planet has been named the Gin Bar of the Year 2025 by Australian Bartender and we can’t tell you how excited we are. Just two years ago we had the pleasure of accepting the same award, but it’s no less incredible standing up there for the second time since 2023.

Centro 86 was the place to be on Sunday for the annual MUCHO Tequila & Mezcal Festival, as part of Sydney Bar Week 2025. If you love tequila, mezcal and the weird world of agave as much as we do, it was a wild takeover.

Hannah Barclay is the ceramic artist and beloved creative mind behind a lot of ceramics throughout our venues. It’s almost impossible to visit Centro 86 or Bar Planet without noticing the presence of her terrestrial work in the space.

Between September 8-14 we’ll be donating $1 from every special across our venues to Lifeline, helping support the 24/7 crisis support line for all Australians.
