Join us to help raise funds for Lifeline this National Suicide Prevention Week

Content Warning: This article discusses and suicide, and suicide prevention support.

Suicide prevention is always possible. But we need to talk about it.

Suicide remains the leading cause of death among people aged 15–44 in Australia.

It affects us all as a community, and it’s a topic we deeply care about within our company. These frightening statistics simply don’t need to be this way, and we want to talk about it so others feel they can too.

Saving a life is not a heroic effort; at times it’s as simple as a question, text message, or a brief interruption in someone’s suicidal thought patterns. We want to help change the conversation about suicide so that people in crisis are able to reach out when they need to, judgement-free, at all times.

From September 8-14, $1 from every special across our venues will be donated to Lifeline, helping support the research and crisis support volunteers offering 24/7 support to all Australians.

Lifeline is not just for people who feel suicidal, it also offers the necessary support and assistance to help you support someone you are personally worried about. Lifeline exists purely to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their toughest moments alone.

If you are concerned that someone is at-risk of suicide and you aren't sure how to talk to them, you can call Lifeline for advice on 13 11 14 at any time. It can be frightening, confusing and isolating, but Lifeline is here to listen, and support you.
