MUCHO Group inducted in to the Bar Awards Hall of Fame
Every year, the Australian Bartender Bar Awards welcomes a person, or people, in to their Hall of Fame for outstanding contributions to the hospitality industry. This year we’re so chuffed to see our very own Daisy Tulley, Jeremy Blackmore and Alex Dowd handed the Hall of Fame baton for their incredible efforts over the last 14 years in hospitality.
Bar Planet crowned Gin Bar of the Year 2025!
Bar Planet has been named the Gin Bar of the Year 2025 by Australian Bartender and we can’t tell you how excited we are. Just two years ago we had the pleasure of accepting the same award, but it’s no less incredible standing up there for the second time since 2023.
Cantina OK! wins Tequila Bar of the Year!
Cantina OK! has been crowned Tequila Bar of the Year 2025 at the Australian Bartender Bar Awards! This makes it our pleasure to share the news for the third time, with the team taking home the award first in 2019 and a second time in 2021.
MUCHO Tequila & Mezcal Festival 2025: Sydney Bar Week Highlights
Centro 86 was the place to be on Sunday for the annual MUCHO Tequila & Mezcal Festival, as part of Sydney Bar Week 2025. If you love tequila, mezcal and the weird world of agave as much as we do, it was a wild takeover.
Join us to help raise funds for Lifeline this National Suicide Prevention Week
Suicide remains the leading cause of death among people aged 15–44 in Australia. It’s a tough topic, but we need to talk about it. Join us this week to help raise much needed funds for Lifeline. Between September 8-14 we’ll be donating $1 from every special across our venues to Lifeline, helping support the 24/7 crisis support line for all Australians.
Herbs Taverne joins Apollo Inn for one night in Melbourne
For one night only, the Herbs Taverne crew are flying down to join the team at Apollo Inn with a selection of signature drinks, to round out the Melbourne segment of Broadsheet’s Dine Out Festival. Together with Apollo Inn’s Lachlan Bentley stirring down the martinis, Herbs will be serving up their delicious Gold Negronis and amaro-spiked cocktails for our sister city.
Bar Planet is the World's Dirtiest Martini Bar
For one night only, Bar Planet becomes the World’s Dirtiest Martini Bar. Sydneysiders will be able to create the dirty martini of their dreams with the addition of a few extra-filthy garnishes. Take Bar Planet's mantra of the ‘Martini How You Like It’ to a whole other level! Think of it as the Inner West version of mastering your Subway order. Dirty. Dry. Never Never Oyster Shell Gin. With a Pickled Onion and a Chilli-Stuffed Olive. Delicious.
Broadsheet Dine Out 2025: Clarence St Dual Happy Hour
As part of Broadsheet's Dine Out Festival, Cantina OK! and Herbs Taverne join forces for the ultimate Clarence St Dual Happy Hour! Start at Cantina OK! and enjoy the world-famous Margarita OK! for just $12, then venture downstairs to Herbs Taverne a few doors down to enjoy Herbs’ Aperol Spritz for the same price. Don’t forget to swing past later for a nightcap, with both bars open late until 2am.

MUCHO Tequila Trail
Who doesn’t love free tequila?! World Tequila Day is July 24, and we’re celebrating it all week with Sydney’s free & first ever Tequila Trail! To celebrate, we’re inviting you all to join the trail as we pour tequila on the house at Centro 86, Cantina OK! and Tio’s. The trail features a trio of Herradura tequilas to try: Herradura Plata Tequila at Cantina OK!, Herradura Reposado Tequila at Tio’s, and Herradura Añejo Tequila at Centro 86.

Bar Planet Mega Martini Launch! (Gotcha!!)
Continuing the MUCHO tradition of mega-fying cocktails, we launched the Mega Martini at Bar Planet! Alas, this one was an April Fools joke but you can get your hands on a real Mega Margs at Tio’s and a Grande Spicy Marg at Centro 86!
