Continuing the MUCHO tradition of mega-fying cocktails, we launched the Mega Martini at Bar Planet! Alas, this one was an April Fools joke but you can get your hands on a real Mega Margs at Tio’s and a Grande Spicy Marg at Centro 86!

Cantina OK! launches a collaborative Weekly Special cocktail with Australian brand, Maison Balzac, to celebrate their iconic Chilli Gobelets! Try the Spicy Watermelon Margarita before it’s gone, or learn how to make one at home below!

Cantina OK! x Ken Done
It was an honour to collaborate with Australian legend Ken Done to create a drink at Cantina OK! inspired by his monumentally iconic art style. We visited Ken in his studio in The Rocks and chatted about his time in Mexico while he doodled on some Cantina coasters.

Our 2024 Spring/Summer menu is for all of the Inner West mystics.

We took three iconic tarot cards, painted them with the Bar Planet brush, enlisted the help of the freshest of produce, and ended up with a delicious menu of seasonal symbolism.

Before the Margarita existed, there was a whole genre of early tequila cocktails.
All three of these seasonal creations harken back to recipes from 1937’s ‘Cafe Royale Cocktail Book’, reimagined through the lens of what we can do in 2024 that we couldn’t before.
How can we revisit classic combinations with an emphasis on a wider, more international pantry, modern techniques and a focus on the freshest ingredients?

You can now add Da Bomb to your Spicy Marg at Tio’s! 🥵🌶️
If our Level 5 spiciest margarita wasn’t spicy enough for you, we’ve now added a whole new selection of hot sauces to the roster to ensure any Scoville-lovers can really knock their socks off. You can even add the infamous Da Bomb, as seen on ‘Hot Ones’.

With this week’s special we are honouring mullet connoisseur and Cantina OK! fan Mick Molloy with his very own Coconut Margarita.
Making things extra-special is the edible wafer that will be served with each drink, emblazoned with Mick’s noggin sporting a mullet not too dissimilar to that of our very own Storm Evans.
Thanks to the Triple M Breakfast crew for heading down to Cantina OK! to try the drink and for all the love they’ve shown the bar on air.

We’ve gone extra, EXTRA terrestrial, like the parallel universe where Italians sip on margaritas in the plaza. Edges of reality.
Bitter-spicy aperitifs, creamy-dreamy citrus, sour-and-twisted cola conspiracies. Drinks inspired by Ancient Aliens, Lizard People, dystopian commercial farms growing fruit and veges underneath the city, and the elusive Ingredient X!
