With a little help from our BFFs at AP Bakery, Goldstreet Dairy and Rooftop Bees, we’ve created a Hot Honey and Gentian aperitif, a Rhubarb and Whey spritz, and buttery Baguette sour.

We took three iconic tarot cards, painted them with the Bar Planet brush, enlisted the help of the freshest of produce, and ended up with a delicious menu of seasonal symbolism.

All three of these seasonal creations harken back to recipes from 1937’s ‘Cafe Royale Cocktail Book’, reimagined through the lens of what we can do in 2024 that we couldn’t before.
How can we revisit classic combinations with an emphasis on a wider, more international pantry, modern techniques and a focus on the freshest ingredients?

Bar Planet UFO Menu Launch
Unexpected Flavour Objects explores the weird and whimsical universe of flavour at Bar Planet with the addition of the Martian, Brainwave and Roswell discoveries to the menu. We’ve gone extra, EXTRA terrestrial, like the parallel universe where Italians sip on margaritas in the plaza. Edges of reality.
Bitter-spicy aperitifs, creamy-dreamy citrus, sour-and-twisted cola conspiracies. Drinks inspired by Ancient Aliens, Lizard People, dystopian commercial farms growing fruit and veges underneath the city, and the elusive Ingredient X!
