    Entry is via the stairs on Pitt St, and wheelchair/ lift access is available on request. Just ask our staff!

Extra-special margaritas, extra-selected tequila, extra-delicious popcorn.

  • Like peering through a psychedelic periscope and drinking in an alternate reality, Centro 86 transforms the basement of 86-88 Pitt St into a monument to maragritas and a temple of tequila.

    Inspired by the classic cantinas of Mexico and the otherworldly work of Antoni Gaudi, the bar pushes the perception of what a margarita can be.

    The 100-strong tequila selection is fuelled by trips to the source in Mexico and includes agave spirits from around the world. We’ve pushed our connections to get our hands on some truly special, rare bottles.
